For your speakers, set those to 24 bit, 48000Hz (studio quality), and for the microphone, set it to 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz (dvd quality). Click on the advanced tab, and there will be a drop down menu under a section titled "default format". Once that's set up, right click on your default devices and select properties. In order to do so, right click on them and select set as default device, if that option isn't there, they probably already are set. Go to sounds, either by right clicking on the speaker icon in the bottom right of the screen or navigating through the control panel.Ĭheck the playback and recording tabs and make sure the devices you're using to play the game (your speakers/headphones and your mic), are set as your default devices. I'll edit in the correct audio sample settings when I get home, I don't remember what they were without checking what I have them at. I fixed this issue on my end, all I had to do was change the audio sample rate on my microphone and speakers and make sure they were my default devices via the control panel. Need more details?
